Identity and Access Management (IAM) is one of the most critical processes that an organization must follow to secure information regarding members, users, and other vital data. Features such as Single Sign-On (SSO) streamline the login process using just a single set of credentials, while Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security for users.
Single Sign-On: This is an authentication process where users are granted access to multiple applications and/or websites using only a single set of login credentials (such as a username and password). This eliminates the need for users to log in separately to various different applications.
Identity Brokering: miniOrange provides brokering services that ensure a secure network between identity providers (IdP) and service providers (SP), regardless of whether they follow protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, or JWT.
Directory Services: miniOrange supports directories available both in the cloud and on-premises. miniOrange can also connect to any external directory such as AD/LDAP, Google, AWS Cognito, etc. The miniOrange directory features user management capabilities such as user provisioning, user deprovisioning, password management, and access levels.
Multi-Factor Authentication: Multi-factor authentication means adding an additional layer of security to authenticate multiple times. miniOrange provides over 15 multi-factor authentication methods, such as OTP via SMS, OTP via call, Google Authenticator, etc.
Adaptive Authentication: Utilizing adaptive authentication can protect an organization’s applications and data. This allows organizations to provide employees and customers with seamless access to the tools they need. miniOrange MFA utilizes IP addresses, location, access time, and user behavior to mitigate the risks of improper data access or information loss.
Provisioning and Deprovisioning: Provisioning is the creation, management, and maintenance of user attributes related to accessing available resources within one or more systems. Provisioning features include the automated creation, update, and deletion of user accounts and groups, as well as user-to-group synchronization. Users and groups can be centrally managed by administrators within the miniOrange dashboard.
